Ronald L. Wilson, Chairman, President and CEO of Desert Community Bank (the "Bank") (NASDAQ: DCBK) announced the results of the election for the Board of Directors of Desert Community Bank at the Annual Meeting of Shareholders held at the Quality Inn & Suites - Green Tree on Tuesday evening, May 9, 2006. Each incumbent director was reelected. This included:

Charles Brammer (Hallmark-Southwest Corporation), Donald Brithinee (Brithinee Electric Co.), Terry Caldwell (Caldwell, Kennedy & Porter), J. Frank Ferre (CPA - Retired - Eadie and Payne), Allen McKellips (Hallmark-Southwest Corporation), Robin Pellissier (Real Estate Developer), Alfred Smith (Retired - Track amazon order from someone else & L Builders Supply), George Vulich (Retired - Angeles Painting), Ronald L. Wilson (Desert Community Bank, and Caroll Yule (Shear Realty).

In addition, Mr. Wilson announced the election of Robert Lovingood as a new member of the Bank's Board.

Robert Lovingood is a well-known business leader in the High Desert of Southern California. He owned a company that was sold to a national company traded on NASDAQ. He started a new company three years ago known as ICR/Degreed Jobs. Mr. Lovingood successfully recruits executives and employees at all levels for a number of clients to include manufacturing, medical, professional, and finance.
