Alpha Team was a Lego theme that was released in 2001 and ended in 2005.[2][3] It focused on a group of secret agents and their evil nemesis named Ogel.

Overview[edit]

Lego Alpha Team was a Lego product line that was in production from 2001 to 2005. It centred on a group of secret agents who aimed to stop an evil character named Ogel from changing people into skeleton drones with mind controlling orbs. The backstory was driven by the Lego Alpha Team PC game and other published media. The name "Ogel" is the word "Lego" in reverse. The theme influenced the Lego Agents theme, which was released several years later in 2008.[4]

Storyline[edit]

Alpha Team starts out as a basic top secret group, under the leadership of Dash Justice. Ogel has made evil orbs that can turn ordinary civilians into mindless drones to serve as his slaves. However, he is defeated by Alpha Team who break the power of the evil orbs to restore the drones back to normal. They capture Ogel and destroy the orb machine, but Ogel manages to escape.

In the 2002 storyline, Ogel returns with more sinister looking drones. Ogel has re-engineered the evil orb so that it causes mutations and uses it to mutate sea creatures to serve him. Ogel's left hand is replaced by a transparent red hook that can still hold things. Alpha Team's helper, TeeVee (a television with legs and antennae) can now turn into a deep sea rover for small openings and scout around the sea embankment. In the webtoon, Into the Deep, Ogel's sinister plan for the mutant sea animals is destroyed when Dash reverses the orb factory controls, thus reverting all the sea animals back to normal. However, Ogel escapes again by detaching the cockpit on his Mutant Squid vehicle.

In the 2004 storyline, Alpha Team is revised. The Alpha Team symbol is changed, Crunch and Cam have been replaced by Diamond Tooth and Arrow (respectively), and Ogel has replaced his red hook with a transparent blue hook. Alpha Team has more tech and their vehicles have a new feature: they can initiate Alpha Mode, a feature that transforms one vehicle to another without disassembling and rebuilding. This time, Ogel's plan has gone from mind control to causing damage to the world. His plan is to freeze the world at his base in Antarctica with ice orbs to freeze time itself. The ice orbs are completely different from the evil orbs Ogel made earlier, as they no longer cause mutations/brainwashing, but instead freeze everything on touch. Alpha Team track him down to Antarctica. They race to Ogel's fortress in a desperate gamble to stop him from freezing time, Ogel ends up freezing almost all members of Alpha Team. However, Charge and TeeVee cannot be found in the iceboxes.

In the 2005 storyline, drones start to behave randomly and steal interesting landmarks. Then Zed, a special agent of Alpha Team, arrives at Antarctica. He melts the ice around the other agents and sets off on his own mission. While the other agents are stopping Ogel's drones, Ogel appears in the Scorpion Orb Launcher, his own vehicle that can convert into the Viper Escape. Ogel and Zed battle. The Lego Magazine invited fans to write their own stories about who would win and what would happen next. The Lego Magazine didn't show the results, but it was assumed that Zed has won the conflict and that the world has been restored to normal.

Characters[edit]

Alpha Team[edit]

  • Dash Justice: The main protagonist of Alpha Team. Motion Expert and Team Leader. Very brave but quite cocky. Loves the seaside. Team Color: Black/Blue[5][6]
  • Crunch: Explosives Expert. Team Color: Green[5]
  • Radia: Lasers Expert. She controls the cockpit area in the Mobile Command Center. Extremely beautiful. Team Color: Purple/Pink[5]
  • Charge: Electricity Expert. His gloves apparently allow him to fly with jets in them, as shown on the cover of the video game. Team Color: Blue/Red[5]
  • Cam Attaway: Motors Expert and mechanic. Team Color: Red[5]
  • Flex: Ropes expert. Team Color: Orange[5]
  • Diamond Tooth: Mining Expert. Team Color: Green[5]
  • Arrow: Alpha Team mechanic. Team Color: Yellow[5]
  • Gearbox: All that is known about this agent is that he built the Tundra Tracker.
  • Zed: Special agent and the pilot of the Blizzard Blaster. Team color: Silver
  • Tee-Vee: Team's assistant. TeeVee, as the name suggests, was originally a Television with legs. He then became an underwater robot for Mission Deep Sea. In the final mission for Alpha Team, he was a fully functional android.[5]

Ogel[edit]

  • Ogel: The ruthless villain of the series. He has been the main villain in each year of the series, constantly coming up with schemes to defeat Alpha Team. His first plot was to use Mind Control Orbs to turn regular people into mindless skeleton-like Drones. These Drones were reverted to normal when the Orbs were destroyed. Ogel returned the following year with a new plan to use mutated sea creatures to control the world's oceans. That plan was thwarted when Agent Dash reversed the controls to the Orb making machine. Ogel's underwater base was destroyed, but Ogel escaped before it exploded. His most recent plan for domination was freezing the world with new Ice Orbs that could freeze anything. His plan succeeded, but he was then stopped by special agent Zed in his Blizzard Blaster. He used to be in love with Radia. [1] "Ogel" is LEGO spelled backwards. In an issue of the LEGO Club Magazine, it was explained that this was due to him representing the exact opposite of LEGO (LEGO is fun, Ogel hates fun, etc.). Ogel is a direct descendant of Vladek, a villain in the Knights Kingdom series. [2]. Greg Farshtey, the writer of Bionicle, Lego Exo-Force, and Alpha Team, among others, has stated that he is his favorite non-Bionicle villain.[5]
  • Skeleton Drones: Ogel's minions, who are people who have been affected by Mind Control Orbs. Their appearance changes numerous times during the series.[5]
  • Super Ice Drone: A Skeleton Drone with a black head that pilots the Scorpion Orb Launcher.[5][7]

Lego Alpha Team

192.168.2.1 - Login Admin

A Complete Guide on 192.168.2.1 IP Address

Routers play an important role in the hyper-connected and online modern world. From being the focal element in a wireless network to allowing multiple devices to connect with the modem, routers allow us to connect to the online world.

Their importance to a network is why people need authorized access to their administrative console or configuration settings. Whether you need to address a network-related problem, change the accessibility rules, or resolve other issues – you need to know your way through the router’s IP address.

There are several different IP (short for Internet Protocol) addresses, but most follow the same pattern, which is 192.168.0.1, 192.168.1.1, or 192.168.1.100.

One common and popular private IP address available is 192.168.2.1. As the default address of various routers, there is a growing need to know about how to login to your router’s IP.

But before that, let’s talk a bit about IP addresses to help you understand better.

What Is An IP Address?

Just like every house has a separate address that allows mail companies to differentiate between what packages to send to which home, every machine also has a separate address that allows it to communicate with the internet and receive specific data.

That address is the IP address. To put it in other words, the IP address is the machine’s unique identifier.

An IP address is what allows a device to connect with other devices and communicate over an IP-based network, with the most common example being the internet.

When talking about 192.168.2.1, this is a private IP address. Private IP addresses like this are part of the IPv4 IP addresses that were released in a limited number but are the most dominant IP addresses in the market.

192.168.2.1 – A Popular IP Address

Owing to the dominance of IPv4 addresses, the 192.168 range is already quite popular all over the world, particularly the 192.168.2.1 variant.

Many renowned router companies, including SMC, Tenda, Belkin, Airlink 101, and Edimax produce routers with the default IP address set to 192.168.2.1.

Ready for your next mission?note Clockwise from top left: Flex, Radia, Dash Justice, Cam Attaway, Crunch, Tee Vee, Charge.

LEGO Alpha Team is a LEGO Theme first released in 2001 and discontinued in 2005, revolving around a team of secret agents who foil the dastardly plans of Evil Ogel, who wants to Take Over the World.

Unlike all other LEGO Themes, LEGO Alpha Team is unique in that create mcb account videogame adaptation was actually released in 2000, a full year prior to the first wave of sets. Developed by effects house Digital Domain and released for PC and Gameboy Color, LEGO Alpha Team is a Puzzle Platformer with the premise that, in the search for Ogel's secret bases, the entire Alpha Team has been captured, and it's up to you to move Alpha Team equipment around Ogel's bases to help Dash Justice, the last remaining agent, open doors and rescue his teammates before foiling Ogel's latest plot.

The first wave of sets, closest in premise to the videogame, revolved around Alpha Team's efforts to locate the Ogel Control Center and stop Ogel's production of Mind-Control Orbs, which he uses to turn innocent people into mindless zombie minions. The second wave of sets, with the subtitle Mission Deep Sea, moved the action to deep beneath the ocean as Alpha Team battled Ogel's army of mutant sea creatures in search of the Ogel Underwater Base.

The third and final wave of sets was a Retool of the Alpha Team theme, with much of the cast receiving dramatic makeovers and Alpha Team's color scheme changing from yellow to blue. This time, Ogel plans to freeze time itself by spreading Ice Orbs across the globe, and Alpha Team must race against time to locate Ogel's Mountain Headquarters before it is too late.

In 2008, LEGO Alpha Team received a Spiritual Successor called LEGO Agents. In 2016, LEGO Alpha Team received a Continuity Nod from LEGO Minifigures, which featured a Spy minifigure in Series 16.

Not to be confused withthat other LEGO Alpha Team or The A-Team (which appeared in LEGO Dimensions).

LEGO Alpha Team provides examples of:

    • Added Alliterative Appeal: This theme loves alliterative names including Trouble Train, Sea Colony Seven Science Center, Tundra Tracker, Solar Speeder, and Blizzard Blaster.
    • Air-Vent Passageway: Dash uses an air vent to sneak around Ogel's greenhouses in the intro cutscene of the PC game.
    • All Deserts Have Cacti: The frozen desert depicted in the online Mission Deep Freeze games is populated by cacti, although the desert's location is not specified.
    • Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: Alpha Team, from Ogel's point of view according to the Minifigure Handbook:

Evil Ogel: They may have foiled my plans to use music to control the world’s weather, and they may have destroyed my beautiful orb machine, freed the mutant sea creatures, and saved the ocean, and most annoyingly rented the last DVD copy of JAWS, but my next plan is the most wickedly brilliant of all!

    • The Bad Guy Wins: At the end of the November/December 2004 LEGO Magazine comic, the entire Alpha Team has been turned into Human Popsicles by Ogel's Ice Orbs, and Ogel fires his Time Freeze Ray, completely freezing World City and grinding time itself to a halt. The comic ends on a cliffhanger, as Zed receives Dash's emergency beacon.
    • Base on Wheels: The Mobile Command Center, as described in its name, is a large truck serving as Alpha Team's base during Mission Deep Freeze.
    • Big Red Button: A large red button activates the Self-Destruct Mechanism the Arctic Command Base. Ogel accidentally pushed this button during his Villainous Breakdown.
    • Brainwashed and Crazy: Whether it's humans, dinosaurs, or sea creatures, the Mind-Control Orbs turn their victims into Ogel's evil minions.
    • Cave Behind the Falls: Radia discovered a secret entrance to the Ogel Control Center in a tunnel hidden behind a waterfall.
    • Chainsaw Good: One of the Ice Drones in Ogel's Mountain Fortress carries an ice saw. In Drones' Menace and Ogel's Fortress, each Ice Drone patrolling Ogel's bases is armed with one of these ice saws, which apparently electrocute Alpha Team agents.
    • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: Cam Attaway and Crunch were both inexplicably removed from the cast during Mission Deep Freeze.
    • Container Maze: The Ogel Island greenhouses tend to be full of crates that Alpha Team agents must either navigate around or destroy with explosives.
    • Continuity Nod: An article in LEGO Brickmaster magazine featured Evil Ogel giving facts about Antarctica. When discussing the orca, Ogel mentions that he is quite familiar with this species, having turned them into Mutant Killer Whales during the previous mission.
    • Convection Schmonvection:
      • Some rooms in the Goo Caverns consist entirely of catwalks above lakes of lava. If Dash, Crunch, or Radia ever fall in, they just jump back out again while yelling in pain.
