how to contact stubhub seller

What Power Sellers want is actually quite simple – they demand a lower commission and eBay acquired one of these, called StubHub, in 2007 for $310m. A Wisconsin man has filed a $5 million dollar federal class action lawsuit against StubHub for not refunding money he spent on a suspended. And last week a Wisconsin man sued StubHub — the biggest marketplace for ticket resales — after the company recently dropped its refund policy.

How to contact stubhub seller -

Just 21 days ago, online ticket exchange and resale company StubHub sent a reassuring email to their customers.

“StubHub is here for you,” reads part of the email, which was signed by company president Sukhinder Singh Cassidy.

In that email, Cassidy outlines to their “valued StubHub customer” base that there really isn’t anything to worry about when it comes to tickets they purchased. Yes, the coronavirus is causing issues with everything ranging from everyday life to professional sporting events and everything in between, but StubHub wanted to assure everyone they would be taken care of.

Take a look at what they promised those valued customers (emphasis is theirs):

If you bought tickets on StubHub and your event is still happening, you are good to go! If you can no longer attend your event for any reason, you can sell your tickets with confidence on StubHub in just a few quick steps.

If you bought tickets on StubHub to an event that is cancelled, you have two options:

1. Receive a full refund of your purchase

2. Receive a coupon for 120 percent of your original purchase*

Just three weeks later, the company issued an update on their coronavirus policy. You might noticed something is missing.

“I want to assure you that StubHub’s FanProtect Guarantee protects every purchase — the ticket you have purchased on our site will get you into the event or we will make it right,” reads the update, which is also signed by Cassidy. “And StubHub’s award-winning customer service is on standby to help with any issues or concerns.

“If you buy tickets on StubHub to an event that is canceled, you are covered by our FanProtect Guarantee. When an event is canceled, you will receive a StubHub coupon worth 120 percent of your original order. For your convenience, we will directly add it to your StubHub account once the event is canceled.”

Where’s that guaranteed refund? It’s just missing with no explanation. That’s quite the dramatic turnaround, considering less than a month has gone by.

The company, built around the constant sale and exchange of tickets to live events, announced cost-saving measures on March 24, according to Celebrity Access, an entertainment industry site. In a statement to the site, StubHub indicated it made the “difficult but responsible decision to furlough a portion of our employee base.” The site reports the number of employees to be 67 percent of the company’s workforce, leaving approximately 150 workers out of about 450 to handle operations until “at least June.”

One has to wonder how reassuring emails to those employees were in the weeks leading up to their furlough.

Then there’s the question of the legality of the move, beyond any ethical shortcomings.

Bengals Mobile Tickets

How do I get the Official Bengals App?

The Official Bengals App can be downloaded for free on Apple or Android devices, or by searching for the "Cincinnati Bengals" app in the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Can I still print my tickets from home?

No. As part of a league-wide initiative, PDF tickets were no longer valid for entry starting with the 2018 season. Fans can enter the stadium using printed tickets from the box office or mobile tickets via the Official Bengals App.

What if I don't have a smartphone?

You will be able to enter the games with printed tickets from the box office. If you do not have a smartphone, please contact the Bengals Ticket Hotline at (513) 621-8383 for assistance.

Can I have multiple tickets on a single phone?

Yes. When accessing your tickets through your account, tap on the game, and you will be able to swipe right to left through your available tickets. We strongly encourage forwarding (transfer) tickets to each of your guests and saving your ticket to your phone's digital wallet prior to game day.

What if I need help on gameday?

You may visit the box office located on the plaza between Gate B & C in the North Endzone at Paul Brown Stadium on gameday. Please have a valid ID for the name on the account. Yes, you will be able to access your tickets via the Official Bengals App by entering your email address and Ticketmaster password.

Can I use a screenshot of my ticket to enter Paul Brown Stadium?

No, screenshots of tickets will not work for entry into Paul Brown Stadium. All mobile ticket barcodes refresh every few seconds so a screenshot will not work at the gate.

I have routinely transferred tickets to friends/coworkers in the past. Has that process changed?

If you are handing off your printed tickets, those will be valid. If you prefer to transfer your tickets online or on your mobile device, the recipient will only be able to access tickets via mobile device. The ability to print tickets at home (PDF) is no longer available. We encourage you to communicate in advance with whomever you may transfer tickets to and make sure they have a smartphone device to accept and view tickets. They will need to log in or create a My Bengals Account to access the tickets.

What if my entire party is not with me when I enter Paul Brown Stadium?

If you are attending with guests, we strongly recommend you transfer (forward) each individual their own ticket and then add the ticket to their phone's digital wallet. If you have multiple tickets on your phone, everyone in your party will need to be present with you as you scan in all of your tickets.

What if I don't have the Official Bengals App?

You can download the Official Bengals App for free through the App store for iOS users or through Google Play for Android users.

Delisted my Tickets!

I will never use StubHub again! I purchased 4 tickets for a Cubs game. I was concerned about the seats right away, and had multiple conversations over several weeks with them about my concerns. I was assured the seats were together (even despite there being a listing from another sale, in the same section, with seats between mine!) I eventually relisted the seats, using the "realist tickets" option on the StubHub website, and purchased other tickets elsewhere for peace of mind. The week of the event I was notified that I listed my seats incorrectly. I was told I would have to delete my
Listing, and list my tickets as sets if two, and I would need to enter the ticket SKUs. I explained that I purchased 4 tickets, together, and it seemed shady I couldnt sell them together as a set of 4. I did delete my listing, and entered all the SKUs (despite being a resale), and relisted my tickets. I was then notified the DAY OF THE GAME, as I was on my way to the game, that StubHub had deactivated my listing. They stated I needed to re-enter everything again. I explained that is not an option, since I was currently traveling. Needless to say, I did not end up selling my tickets.

StubHub is a complete joke.

Horrible customer service

I bought watsky/hobo Johnson tickets in 2019 (way before the pandemic) and the date got moved as usual and eventually watsky decided to cancel his concert because he didn’t see a point in the concert if it had to keep getting moved and postponed even longer and he felt bad. So stubhub sent out an email saying “you could click on this link to get 120% credit sent to your account or you can do nothing for this email and don’t click the link to get your money refunded” naturally I wanted the money back, I have a 4 month old who requires a lot so that would’ve been very helpful. I NEVER got it. I went to the websites help center and it said oh well just click on “request refund” if you didn’t want your credit, on the appropriate credit you have, well that wasn’t an option. I tried multiple times, and I wasn’t going to sit on the phone for 4 hours to wait to be told the same thing over and over. So I @ them on Twitter and FINALLY I got help. Or so I thought. They made me jump through so many hoops, only for them to say “this is stressing us out and we have other people to help” BUT I WASNT HELPED?? WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU CAN HELP OTHERS IF YOU CANT HELP ME?? So I kept talking to them, and we ALMOST got somewhere to fix the problem. Then they just stopped talking to me all together.
I will not be using this credit, I DEMAND my money back because I was told I can get it, and I will NEVER use stubhub again.

Very disappointed

I’m very disappointed in Stubhub and how insensitive they are being during this pandemic. They do not care at all about their customers, only their bottom line. I bought tickets for a concert on March 28th in Austin, TX for our wedding anniversary. The concert got rescheduled to May 29th because of the Coronavirus. They are now several reasons I am not able to go. The main reason being because in light of the uncertainty surrounding Coronavirus I am uncomfortable making the trip but also because originally the concert was on a Saturday and we had no problem going down for it but now it’s on a Friday night at 7:30 and we are not able to take off work to go down considering it will take us 6 hours to get there. Regardless of our reasons, Stubhub is not trying to help us at all because “they are not responsible for rescheduled events.” Their only suggestion is to sell our tickets. No one is going to buy tickets for anything right now in light of the circumstances and Stubhub is fully aware of that. They are just trying to take advantage of their customers.

I will never buy from Stubhub again and I highly discourage others from doing so. I don’t suggest supporting corporations that do not care about their clientele. Find somewhere else to buy your tickets that won’t take advantage of you.

And to Stubhub: do better.

Why StubHub halted refunds

With sports on pause and large gatherings banned across the globe, the live events industry has effectively ground to a halt.

The state of play: In the U.S. alone, more than 23,000 events have been canceled, postponed or rescheduled in the past three weeks.

Driving the news: Online ticket exchange StubHub, which facilitates the constant selling and re-selling of tickets, recently changed its refund policy for canceled events.

  • Old policy: StubHub has historically refunded buyers for canceled events before collecting money from sellers, while also paying sellers for ticket sales before events actually happen.
  • New buyer policy: Two weeks ago, buyers were being offered (1) a refund or (2) a coupon valued at 120% of their order once an event was officially canceled. But as of last week, refunds are no longer being offered unless the buyer's billing address or the event is in a state or international jurisdiction with consumer laws around refunds.
  • New seller policy: If sellers were paid for tickets to canceled events, StubHub will charge their credit card to reverse the transaction and direct sellers to contact the original ticket company for a refund.

The response: With an estimated $1 billion tied up in tickets at a time when Americans are filing for unemployment at record rates, StubHub's decision to stop issuing refunds was met with plenty of criticism.

  • Yes, but: Most complaints failed to consider the "seller" side of StubHub's business, which appears to be what forced the company's hand — and could force the hand of other two-sided ticket marketplaces, too.

Interview: I spoke with StubHub president Sukhinder Singh Cassidy.

KB: A week ago, you were offering refunds for canceled events. Now you're not. What changed?

"We have a situation right now where we had over 20,000 events canceled, basically at the same time. In addition to our buyers, we also have a million sellers on our platform, all of whom are trying to figure out how they're going to get recouped from the original seller — the venue, the team, the artist — and the timing delays are going to be significant."
"In normal times, we would take the risk of giving refunds to buyers before recouping the same refund from the seller. At regular volume, we can afford to take that risk. But these are unprecedented times."
"I understand that by going first, our policy change may have come as a surprise to people. But remember, we're not the original sellers of the tickets or the holders of the inventory. So there's just no way for us to take that timing risk on behalf of sellers, at scale, all at the same time."
— Sukhinder Singh Cassidy, Stubhub president

KB: Last week, you began furloughing employees. What went into that decision?

"We took the furlough option because we wanted the optionality to understand how this industry will recover. We felt like the only way to give us flexibility was to take those actions early."
"I'm not proud of having to do it, but in order for us to be there for our customers post-recovery, we have to make these tough decisions now."

P.S. ... Something else to watch as MLB start dates get thrown around and football season approaches: Postponed games vs. canceled games.

  • For postponed games, buyers can't even get a coupon from most ticketing companies, leaving them with two choices until the game is officially canceled: Try to re-sell the ticket or plan to attend on the rescheduled date.

StubHub Hit With $5M Class Action Lawsuit Over Coronavirus Refund Policy

A Wisconsin man has filed a $5 million dollar federal class action lawsuit against StubHub for not refunding money he spent on a suspended NHL game.

Filed by plaintiff Matthew McMillan last Thursday in U.S. District Court in Wisconsin, the complaint accuses the ticket resale company of breach of contract and negligent misrepresentation, among other claims. McMillan is asking the court to prohibit StubHub from issuing coupons worth 120% of the purchase price in lieu of refunds and to order the company to reinstate its pre-March 20 refund policy.

According to his complaint, McMillan says he purchased two $120 tickets on StubHub in early March to attend an NHL game between the Winnipeg Jets and the Minnesota Wild. When the NHL announced on March 12 the season had been suspended due to the spread of the coronavirus, McMillan asked StubHub to refund his money.

McMillan says StubHub told him he could not receive a refund because the game had not been canceled but only postponed, despite the fact that he had purchased his ticket with StubHub’s money back guarantee policy and that he is all but certain the game will eventually be canceled. He says he was told he would be given a coupon that expires in 12 months and not the monetary refund he requested.

McMillan’s lawsuit states that for years, StubHub has touted its “FanProtect guarantee,” promising users they would receive a full money back refund if an event was canceled. The complaint notes that on March 12, StubHub president Sukhinder Singh Cassidy sent out an email to users stating that while refunds would still available for canceled events, it would also be offering coupons for 120% of the original order price as an alternative. Then, on March 25, StubHub amended its policy, stating that “if the event is canceled and not rescheduled, you will get a refund or credit to use on a future purchase, as determined in StubHub’s sold discretion (unless a refund is required by law).”

In a subsequent email sent March 30, Cassidy announced that the company had changed its longstanding refund policy because the coronavirus crisis’ impact on the touring industry had put StubHub in an untenable position. “We are facing significant timing delays in recouping funds from the thousands of sellers on our platform, and expect these challenges to continue in the coming months,” Cassidy wrote in the email. The new policy stated customers would be offered a 120% credit for canceled purchases as a “thank you for remaining patient in a very challenging period.”

The March 30 email went on to state that 70% of customers had already chosen that option and that StubHub would now be using the coupon alternative as its “standard policy for canceled events, with refunds available in jurisdictions where they are required.”

According to McMillan’s complaint, neither he nor other StubHub customers were informed of or agreed to this new policy.

“Instead of instituting responsible financial transaction policies, (StubHub) made it their practice to pay ticket sellers before the event had occurred, exposing themselves to the possibility that they would be left holding the bag (or have to ignore their own guarantee and cheat their customers) if an event was cancelled and they could not promptly collect from sellers,” the complaint states.

McMillan’s attorney Nick Coulson tells Billboard StubHub’s conduct is egregious.

“Dumping promised refunds for expiring coupons during the time of greatest financial suffering in recent history is cruel and wrong,” Coulson says. “Especially because people have no idea if they’ll even be able to use the coupons — we don’t know what the next 12 months are going to look like. To the extent that StubHub claims financial constraints have forced its hand (into its customers’ pockets), those constraints are entirely of its own making. Through this action, we hope to provide people some small bit of relief during this uncertain time.”

A spokesperson for StubHub told Billboard the company does not comment on pending litigation.

How to contact stubhub seller changed?

"I'm not proud of having to do it, how to contact stubhub seller in order for us to be there for our customers post-recovery, we have to make these tough decisions now."

P.S. . Something else to watch as MLB start dates get thrown around and football season approaches: Postponed games vs. canceled games.

  • For postponed games, buyers can't even get a coupon from most ticketing companies, leaving them with two choices until the game is officially canceled: Try to re-sell the ticket or plan to attend on the rescheduled date.

walmart la plata pharmacy hours Delisted my Tickets!

I will never use StubHub again! I purchased 4 tickets for a Cubs game. I was concerned about the seats right away, and had multiple conversations over several weeks with them about my concerns. I was assured the seats were together (even despite there being a listing from another sale, in the same section, with seats between mine!) I eventually relisted the seats, using the "realist tickets" option on the StubHub website, and purchased other tickets elsewhere for synchrony bank sams club credit card payment address of mind.
1st day of spring 2012 is a complete joke.

Horrible customer service

I bought watsky/hobo Johnson tickets in 2019 country homes for sale near austin tx before the pandemic) and the date got moved as usual and eventually watsky decided to cancel his concert because he didn’t see a point in the concert if it had to keep getting moved and postponed even longer and he felt bad.

Just 21 days ago, online ticket exchange and resale company StubHub sent a reassuring email to their customers.

“StubHub is here for you,” how to contact stubhub seller part of the email, which was signed by company president Sukhinder Singh Cassidy.
